FUDMA Journal of Earth and Environmental Sciences (Call for Papers)

FUDJEES is a peer-reviewed academic journal of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) in collaboration with the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET). The journal adopts a bi-annual policy of publication (April and August). The journal publishes original research works, review papers, synopsis (short communications), and theoretical papers that are within the realm of geology, geography, urban and regional planning, environmental sciences, pure and applied sciences, and other related disciplines.   

Submission

All correspondence is to be performed electronically and not in paper copies. Manuscripts must be submitted as an email attachment to fudjees@fudutsinma.edu.ng with a manuscript review fee of Seven thousand Naira (₦7,000) or the Dollars equivalent for international scholars payable to FUDMA Journal of Earth and Environmental Sciences accounts in First Bank, Nigeria with Naira Account Number (2043302264) and Dollar Account Number (2043307616). Once the manuscript is accepted, authors are to pay twenty-five thousand naira (₦25,000) as publication fee. Articles submitted should not have been previously published, submitted for publication, and/or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles should be in editable format (Microsoft Word).

Manuscript and Content

The title Manuscripts should be prepared using font size 12 in Times New Roman on A4 size paper, double-spaced, and with margins of 1.5cm on either side and 2.5 cm on top and bottom. Make sure the manuscript has a page number and should not exceed 20 pages. Authors should ensure they write in good English which should be spell-checked.

The manuscript should have necessary section headings which include Introduction, Study Area, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendations, Acknowledgement, Conflict of Interest, and References (APA 6th Edition). Figures and Tables should appear in numerical order cited within the body of the text with titles and sources appearing in bold. Titles of tables should be at the top of the tables while that of figures should be below. All other illustrations other than figures and tables should be labelled and numbered consecutively.  An abstract of not more than 250 words is required to be followed with 4 to 6 keywords.
